Users try to mint without the .02 SOL gas fee

It is often that user’s forget that in order to mint an NFT, you need to pay Solana a rent (gas) fee of 0.02 SOL to mint an NFT. This means that if your NFT purchase price is 1 SOL, that a user will really need 1.02 SOL in order to mint. This is the most common issue we run into when user’s that have a WL token in the wallet are failing to mint.

User gets an Unknown token and is charged .01 SOL, but receives no NFT — Bot tax fees

User thinks they are on whitelist, and have enough SOL to mint, but is still getting a failed transaction.

Often the user is connecting a wallet that is not on the whitelist or they are not on the whitelist. Confirm if they have the correct wallet connected to the mint site, and request their wallet address so you can confirm if they are on WL.

Has the user already tried to mint a second time?

There are a few reasons why this could happen, most commonly its the Solana network congestion and you should tell the user to try again right away.

User is having issues connect to their wallet or is getting connected to the wrong wallet

Often user’s do not realize they are not connected to the wallet with their WL token. In order to solve this issue, have the user both refresh and close the mint page and start over.
